Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness
The purpose of this course is to raise awareness of allergy and anaphylaxis in the community. Graduates of the Course in Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness will be able to identify signs and symptoms of an allergic/anaphylactic reaction by providing emergency first aid using an adrenaline autoinjector device. In addition, they will identify allergen risks and develop risk minimisation plans for people where a duty of care is present.
Asthma Australia is a Registered Training Organisation – Provider Number 4987.

This course is for anyone that has a “Duty of Care” for a person at risk of anaphylaxis and meets the requirements of Ministerial Order 706 required by school staff (Victorian Legislation).
This course meets current ACECQA requirements for Anaphylaxis Management Training;
ACECQA Approved First Aid, Emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Qualification
