Bird Healthcare have been supporting Asthma Australia since 2002.  

Bird Healthcare is an Australian-owned company. They specialise in making new or improved products for people with respiratory conditions.  

Bird Healthcare are often looking for ways to help the community and the founder has a personal link to asthma. 

Nick Bird says, “I had a situation with my daughter where she had a sudden asthma attack. She was hospitalised, and diagnosed with asthma. This was a frightening experience with absolute panic, I was bewildered with what to do. At the hospital, we learnt a lot. I knew the help we received from the hospital should be shared. I knew we could do this via the spacer and it’s packaging, from hospital to home. The decision to help Asthma Australia with patient education was easy. My company will keep supporting Asthma Australia’s work. Getting the health message out is always important.” 

Bird Healthcare make eChamber spacers as well as other products. 

A part of the retail price of an eChamber spacer is donated to Asthma Australia. Bird Healthcare also help Asthma Australia to provide discounted spacers to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander First Nation’s people.
