Asthma Week

Asthma Week | 1-7 September

Every year, Asthma Week shines a spotlight on the experiences of the more than 2.8 million Australians living with asthma.
It’s a chance to put asthma on the kitchen table by encouraging open conversations with family and friends and raising awareness of the impact asthma can have on everyday life.

As Australia’s national consumer organisation for asthma, Asthma Australia leads Asthma Week and encourages everyone to learn more, share their experiences, and take action for better asthma health.

This year’s theme, “Shining a Light on Women and Asthma”, explores how hormonal changes throughout life can affect asthma and what women need to know to stay in control of their symptoms.

Whether you’d like to learn more, support our work through a donation, help spread the word, or get involved in Asthma Week activities, we’d love to hear from you.

Have a question or want to get involved? Email [email protected] or call 1800 ASTHMA (1800 278 462).
