Participate in a research project

Project title: Reducing emissions from respiratory care: a qualitative study exploring the perspective and preferences of adults with asthma related to respiratory inhalers.

You are invited to participate in an interview as part of a research study aiming to investigate (a) consumer knowledge, awareness, and attitudes regarding respiratory inhalers (including environmental impact) and (b) barriers and facilitators for evidence-based respiratory care that is environmentally sustainable.

If you are an adult (>18 years) living with asthma, and a current (within last 6 months) and regular (at least once a month) user of one or more types of respiratory inhalers, then you are likely to be well suited to participating in this study.

Interviews will be conducted with a member of the research team by telephone or video call (e.g. Zoom) and are expected to take approx. 30-60 minutes to complete. You will receive a $50 gift card to thank you for your time and participation.

This project has been approved by MUHREC (#44951) and is funded by the Healthy Environments and Lives (HEAL) Innovation Fund.
