Asthma is a major health condition that affects both children and adults and is the leading cause of disease burden among children. Although asthma can be a serious condition, it can be managed well with the right treatment.
We need to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes for people with asthma in Australia. Not only through achieving short term outcomes, but by also creating long term impact. That’s why we’ve developed and embedded measurement tools across the organisation to provide visibility of our achievements and to understand what is working and what is not.
Each year we measure and evaluate the impact of our work and publish the results in our Impact Report. This year’s report is Brighter futures for people with asthma.
Our goal is to halve potentially preventable hospital admissions for asthma by 2030. Working with people with asthma, and with the people, settings and systems around them, we are confident we are on the right path and look forward to achieving our ambitions together.
