- This means you can get a free asthma education phone call from us.

- On how to stop future asthma attacks.
- On how to get the best from your next visit to the doctor.

Asthma Clinics for Children
There are Paediatric Asthma Clinics with asthma nurses at the hospitals in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie, available by GP referral. At the Burnie Hospital there is a specialist children’s respiratory and allergy service.
- At each appointment they will be available for education.
- They may assist with tests on your child’s lungs.
- The asthma nurse also helps arrange appointments and is the best contact person for questions and concerns.

Respiratory Outpatient Clinics for assessment and management are available at all hospitals.
Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Asthma Clinics for Adults
This clinic is for specialist assessment of patients with life threatening asthma attacks, moderate or severe persistent asthma, difficulty with self-management, lack of response to treatment, guidance needed around triggers and avoidance.
