After finding the right asthma medication for me I feel like a new human – I can finally breathe again.

Ivan was diagnosed with asthma late in life at age 37.

As an elite runner in his younger years, having a chronic disease was the last thing he expected.

Over the past 15 years, Ivan’s asthma deteriorated to the point where he was on three different puffers’- two preventers and one reliever as well as a fortnightly injectable biologic medication.

Despite using multiple medicines to treat his asthma, Ivan still struggled to breathe with his lung capacity at one point dropping to 48%.

He decided to move further north to a warmer climate to see if this would help improve his asthma.

After his relocation Ivan saw a new respiratory specialist who introduced him to a new biologic medication.

He finally found a medicine that worked for him and his asthma improved dramatically.

Ivan is now able to push himself during exercise, with no coughing and has found a new lease on life.
