At Asthma Australia, we are on a mission to halve avoidable asthma-related hospitalisations by 2030. This can only be achieved by harnessing digital and data-enabled solutions to improve health outcomes for people with asthma.

Our Digital and Data Advisory Committee (DDAC) will play a vital role in guiding us on this journey by providing expert advice, information and recommendations on the latest in digital health and data technologies. The DDAC will be responsible for:

  • Advising on trends in digital health, including Generative AI, digital inclusion and commercialisation.
  • Guiding the development and implementation of Asthma Australia’s Digital Health Strategy.
  • Providing insights on data and optimisation for improved health outcomes.
  • Connecting Asthma Australia with leaders in digital health and technology.
  • Offering expertise on future technologies and commercial ventures in the digital space.

This is a voluntary yet prestigious appointment. Meetings are expected to be virtual but if they are held in person, Asthma Australia will cover the expenses incurred. As a DDAC member, you will be required to make a commit of approximately two hours per month.

For more information about the role of the DDAC in achieving Asthma Australia’s strategic initiatives, please refer to the DDAC Terms of Reference.
