AirRater

AirRater’s pollen network is powered by AirHealth and provides daily pollen counts for select sites across Australia through the AirRater app. Data is collected on over 25 native and introduced pollen types so you can find out what’s in flower now and see how different pollen species might be affecting your symptoms.

AirRater has pollen count monitors in the following locations which feed directly into the AirRater app:

  • Victoria via the Melbourne Pollen Service (led by AirHealth)
  • Tasmania – Sandy Bay (in collaboration with University of Tasmania)
  • ACT via Canberra Pollen (in collaboration with the Australian National University)
  • NSW via Sydney Pollen (in collaboration with Connie Katelaris and Campbelltown Hospital
  • WA via Perth Pollen (in collaboration with Edith Cowan University)
  • QLD – Brisbane (in collaboration with University of Queensland)
  • NT (in collaboration with Charles Sturt University)

Asthma Australia and AirHealth partnership

Asthma Australia has partnered with AirHealth, marking an important step forward in helping people manage their asthma every day. This partnership brings together AirHealth’s expertise providing air quality and pollen information with Asthma Australia’s trusted communication channels to deliver timely, localised health alerts. Together, we’ll help people with asthma and allergies stay informed about major environmental triggers such as pollen and thunderstorm asthma events – helping to reduce risk and prevent avoidable asthma hospitalisations.
